Կուզենայի: how to say 'I would'
'I would like', 'I could check', 'it would be good' — all three take the prefix կ-. It goes on the past form of the verb. For example: “Կուզենայի աշխատել ձեր ընկերությունում” — I would like to work at your company. A rule from the Armenian course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
'I would like', 'I could check', 'it would be good' — all three take the prefix կ-. It goes on the past form of the verb.
The past of ուզենալ (uzenal), to want, is ուզենայի, ուզենայիր, ուզենար. Put կ- in front and you get 'would like': կուզենայի (kuzenayi), կուզենայիր, կուզենար. Կուզենայի աշխատել ձեր ընկերությունում (kuzenayi ashkhatel dzer ənkerut'yunum) — I would like to work at your company.
The same trick gives կկարողանայի, I would be able, and լավ կլիներ (lav kliner), it would be good. The last one softens any proposal: Լավ կլիներ վաղը հանդիպել (lav kliner vaghə handipel).
The trap: when the condition is unreal, both halves go into the past. But կ- stands only in the main one: Եթե փորձ ունենայի (yet'e p'ordz unenayi), կդիմեի (kdimei). After եթե (yet'e) there is never a կ-.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.
