Many people without a single form: หลาย คน, ทุก คน, ส่วน ใหญ่
The word khon, "person", has no plural. "A person walks" and "people walk" are the same: khon doen. A separate word before or after the noun gives the quantity. For example: “หลาย คน ย้าย มา อยู่ เมือง” — Many move to the city to live. A rule from the Thai course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
The word khon, "person", has no plural. "A person walks" and "people walk" are the same: khon doen. A separate word before or after the noun gives the quantity.
lai khon — several people. thuk khon — everyone, "every person": the same thuk as in "every day". khon mak — many people, with the amount after the word. For "most people", Thai says suan yai — "the bigger part".
The trap: do not look for an "s", and do not change the verb. The noun keeps the same shape, and only the added word tells you how many.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.
