How it works

Arqam auirady is my back hurts; arqañ auirady is yours; arqasy auirady is his. The tail is the ordinary one for belonging: -ym, -yñ, -yñyz, -y.
The person who feels bad takes -ğa: mağan suyıq tidi, I caught a cold, word for word the cold touched me. Tumauğa shaldyqty is he came down with flu. Getting well takes -dan: tumaudan aiyqty.
The trap: a few words drop a vowel before the tail. Erin gives ernim, not erinim; muryn gives murnym. The list is short.
