ბევრი, ცოტა, რამდენიმე: how much — and why it all stays singular
The surprise is not in the words themselves but in what follows them. After 'many', 'few', 'several' and any number the noun stays singular. Not 'ბევრი ხარჯები' but ბევრი ხარჯი; not 'ხუთი წიგნები' but ხუთი წიგნი. For example: “ბანკში რამდენიმე ადამიანი იდგა” — Several people were standing in the bank. A rule from the Georgian course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
The surprise is not in the words themselves but in what follows them. After 'many', 'few', 'several' and any number the noun stays singular. Not 'ბევრი ხარჯები (bevri kharjebi)' but ბევრი ხარჯი (bevri kharji); not 'ხუთი წიგნები (khuti tsignebi)' but ხუთი წიგნი (khuti tsigni).
The words are few: ბევრი (bevri) — many, ცოტა (tsota) — few, რამდენიმე (ramdenime) — several, მთელი (mteli) — the whole.
ყველა (qvela) and ყველაფერი (qvelaperi) stand apart. The first is about people and countable things: ყველა სტუდენტი მოვიდა (qvela studenti movida) — all the students came. The second is about things and circumstances: ყველაფერი კარგადაა (qvelaperi kargadaa) — everything is fine. ყველა კარგადაა (qvela kargadaa) means 'everyone is well'.
The verb after ბევრი and ყველა is singular too: ბევრი ადამიანი მოვიდა (bevri adamiani movida), not 'მოვიდნენ (movidnen)'.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.
Frequently asked
how much — and why it all stays singular: how does it work in Georgian?
The surprise is not in the words themselves but in what follows them. After 'many', 'few', 'several' and any number the noun stays singular. Not 'ბევრი ხარჯები' but ბევრი ხარჯი; not 'ხუთი წიგნები' but ხუთი წიგნი.
What does it look like in an example sentence Georgian?
“ბანკში რამდენიმე ადამიანი იდგა” (bankshi ramdenime adamiani idga) — Several people were standing in the bank. A rule is easier to test on sentences like this than to memorize as a wording: what surfaces in conversation is the sentence.
