To whom: ให้, หา and ถึง address any action
Thai does not decline: "to me", "for mom" and "to a friend" are assembled from little words after the verb. The first is ให้: to give, hand over, pass to someone. Song hai phom — send it to me; sue hai mae — buy it for mom. You have seen it already in the wish kho hai chok di — "wish you luck". For example: “ส่ง ข้อความ ให้ ผม หน่อย” — Send me a message. How it works
Thai does not decline: "to me", "for mom" and "to a friend" are assembled from little words after the verb. The first is ให้ (хай): to give, hand over, pass to someone. Song hai phom — send it to me; sue hai mae — buy it for mom. You have seen it already in the wish kho hai chok di — "wish you luck".
The second is หา (хаа), "onto": phone calls and letters are addressed with it. Tho ha mae — "call mom", literally "call onto mom". The third is ถึง (тхынг), "to": you know it from a train arriving. In letters it marks the addressee: khian theung phuean — "write to a friend".
The order is always one: action → to whom. The little word stands right behind the verb, and nothing else needs changing. The same scheme works on the phone and at the post office.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.

What does it look like in a Thai example sentence?
“ส่ง ข้อความ ให้ ผม หน่อย” (сонг кхоекхуам хай пхом ной) — Send me a message. A rule is easier to test on sentences like this than to memorize as a wording: what surfaces in conversation is the sentence.
