In the morning the neighbors helped set the table in the yard, under the old apple tree. The house was decorated with flowers, and all the guests were dressed up. By our custom a guest brings a bouquet and takes off his shoes on the threshold. The aunt sewed the wedding dress for my sister, and it was one of a kind. In the evening the whole village danced, and the holiday turned out truly familial.
