- Na urodziny dostałam abonament na pięć spektakli w teatrze w centrum. Pierwszą była komedia napisana według powieści, którą czytałam w szkole. Główną rolę zagrał znany aktor, ale większe wrażenie zrobiła na mnie młoda aktorka. Reżyser przeniósł całą fabułę do naszych czasów, a scena była prawie pusta. Po końcu oklaski były tak długie, że aktorzy wrócili na scenę trzy razy. Teraz rozumiem, dlaczego kultura ma w tym państwie swój dzień wolny.For my birthday I received a subscription to five performances at the theatre in the centre. The first was a comedy written after a novel I had read at school. The main role was played by a famous actor, but the young actress made a greater impression on me. The director moved the whole plot to our time, and the stage was almost empty. At the end the applause was so long that the actors returned to the stage three times. Now I understand why culture in this state has its own day off.
