How it works

Beru means you did it for another. Alyp berdim is I bought it for someone; zhasap berdim, I made it for someone; aityp berdim, I told it to someone.
Alu means you did it for yourself. Satyp aldym is I bought it for me. Zhazyp aldym is I wrote it down for me, and oqyp aldym is I read it and took it in.
The trap: this is not a shade of meaning but the meaning itself. Kitap alyp berdim is I bought him the book; kitap alyp aldym is I bought it for myself.
