ხორკლიანი, წებოვანი, უვარგისი: how an object becomes a quality
A quality in Georgian is almost always built from a noun by one of three frames. Know the frame and you understand a word you never learned. For example: “კედელი ხორკლიანია, მაგიდა კი გლუვი” — The wall is bumpy, and the table is smooth. A rule from the Georgian course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
A quality in Georgian is almost always built from a noun by one of three frames. Know the frame and you understand a word you never learned.
-იანი — 'with something'. The liveliest frame of the three. ხორკლი (a burr) → ხორკლიანი (bumpy), მტვერი (dust) → მტვრიანი (dusty), წვეტი (a point) → წვეტიანი (pointed). A root vowel often drops before the ending: მტვერი, but მტვრიანი.
-ური / -ული — a quality from a borrowed word. კვადრატი → კვადრატული (kvadratuli), ოვალი → ოვალური (ovaluri), ლოგიკა → ლოგიკური (logikuri). If a word looks European, look for this tail.
უ-…-ო — 'without something'. The noun is wrapped on both sides: ვარგისი (fit for use) → უვარგისი (unusable), ხმა (voice) → უხმო (silent).

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.
