Վաղը կգնամ: the future in one letter
'Tomorrow I'll go', 'I'll call you', 'we'll order' — all of it takes one letter. Glue կ- to the front of the verb and put a personal ending on the back. գնալ → կգնամ, կգնաս, կգնա, կգնանք, կգնաք, կգնան. There is no separate word for 'will'. For example: “Վաղը կգնամ օդանավակայան” — Tomorrow I'll go to the airport. A rule from the Armenian course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
'Tomorrow I'll go', 'I'll call you', 'we'll order' — all of it takes one letter. Glue կ- to the front of the verb and put a personal ending on the back. գնալ (gnal) → կգնամ (kgnam), կգնաս, կգնա (kgna), կգնանք (kgnank'), կգնաք, կգնան. There is no separate word for 'will'.
Verbs in -ել take an 'e' in that ending (գրել (grel) → կգրեմ (kgrem)); verbs in -ալ take an 'a' (կարդալ (kardal) → կկարդամ). If the verb starts with a vowel, կ simply stands in front: ուտել (utel) → կուտեմ (kutem).
The trap is the negative: կ vanishes. Not 'չկգնամ' but չեմ գնա (chem gna) — negative linker plus the bare form. Չեմ ուշանա (chem ushana) is 'I won't be late'. Hold the two together as a pair: կգնամ — չեմ գնա.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.
Frequently asked
the future in one letter: how does it work in Armenian?
'Tomorrow I'll go', 'I'll call you', 'we'll order' — all of it takes one letter. Glue կ- to the front of the verb and put a personal ending on the back. գնալ → կգնամ, կգնաս, կգնա, կգնանք, կգնաք, կգնան. There is no separate word for 'will'.
What does it look like in an example sentence Armenian?
“Վաղը կգնամ օդանավակայան” (vaghə kgnam odanavakayan) — Tomorrow I'll go to the airport. A rule is easier to test on sentences like this than to memorize as a wording: what surfaces in conversation is the sentence.
