So where you put it decides the meaning. Դու՞ ես (du es?) asks 'is it you, of all people?'; Դու ե՞ս գնում (du es gnum?) just asks 'are you going?'.
Your voice rises on exactly that word. Armenian needs no extra 'do' or 'is' to open a question — the sign does the whole job.
