- في يوم الأحد أطبخ مع أخي في المطبخ. أولا نقشر الخضروات: بطاطا وجزر وثوم. أخي يغلي الماء ويضع اللحم البقري. أنا أخفق البيض وبعد ذلك أضيف الكريمة. الطعام يسخن على نار صغيرة، والملح قليل. في النهاية نضع الطعام على الطاولة، ونقول شهية طيبة.фи йаум аль-ахад актбух маʿа ахий фи аль-матбах. ауввалан накшур аль-худрават: батяата ва-джазр ва-саум. ахий йягли аль-мааʾ ва-йада аль-ляхм аль-бакари. ана ахфик аль-байд ва-баʿд заалик адииф аль-криима. ат-таʿаам йусаххин аля нар сагиира, ва-ль-мильх кялиль. фи ан-нихяая надаʿ ат-таʿаам аля ат-таавила, ва-накуль шахийя тайиба.On Sunday I cook with my brother in the kitchen. First we clean the vegetables: potatoes, carrots and garlic. My brother boils the water and puts in the beef. I whisk the eggs, and after that add the cream. The food warms on a small fire, and there is little salt. At the end we set the food on the table and say "bon appetit".
