Time: quan, en quant
Time is joined by the conjunction quan — "when". If the action is still ahead, the clause takes subjuntiu, the form for what is not yet real: Quan arribis, truca. How it works

The form arribis is not the present: the future lives inside it.
Repeated and past events take the ordinary present: Quan plou, quedo a casa — when it rains, I stay home.
En quant — "as soon as": the same row, only sterner; in speech more often tan bon punt. The question word "quan?" keeps its accent: Quan arribes?
