I speak, we two speak, we all speak: who is acting now
To say what you are doing now, change the end of the word: govorim — I speak, govoriš — you speak. Delam means I work, delaš means you work, dela means he or she works. For example: “Govorim slovensko” — I speak Slovenian. A rule from the Slovenian course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
To say what you are doing now, change the end of the word: govorim — I speak, govoriš — you speak. Delam means I work, delaš means you work, dela means he or she works.
Exactly two people have their own endings: delava — we two work; delata — you two or they two work. For three or more: delamo — we work, delate — you work, delajo — they work.
You can leave out jaz, 'I', because the ending already shows who acts. Govorim slovensko means 'I speak Slovenian'.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.
