On Wednesday I made an appointment for a haircut: my hair had grown below my ears. The barbershop is near home, and I walked there in ten minutes. The stylist asked how much to cut, and I said: just a tiny bit. In the end the haircut came out shorter than I wanted, but I even liked it. Half an hour of work — and I paid for everything by card.

A2. That means: you know the letters and have a stock of everyday words — about two or three hundred.
