Text
Keshe qaladağy chempionattyñ finaly ötti. Sportzal toly edi, zhanküierler än saldy. In the last minute the referee blew the whistle: it turned out the rules of the game had been broken. We thought it would end in a draw, but victory came in the last second. After the game one player had a strain, but a cast was not needed. The winners received medals.

A2. That means: you know the letters and have a stock of everyday words — about two or three hundred.

First all the way through without peeking at the translation — just to catch the familiar words. Then with the translation. Then all the way through again: the second pass brings noticeably more, and that feeling matters more than any rule.
