Text
მას შემდეგ ეზოში კამერა დადგეს და უსაფრთხოება, მგონია, გაუმჯობესდა.ghamit mezoblis ezoshi khmauri gaisma da maleve politsia movida. aghmochnda, rom mankanidan chanta moipares; es danashauli ukve mesamea am kuchaze. politsielma okmi sheadgina da mezobeli motsmed dakitkha. echvmitanili dilit daakaves, tumtsa advokatma tkva, rom misi klienti udanashauloa. dapatimrebis sakitkhs sasamartlo ganikhilavs da gadatsqvetileba or dgheshi gamotskhaddeba. mas shemdeg ezoshi kamera dadges da usaprtkhoeba, mgonia, gaumjobesda. At night there was noise in the neighbor's yard, and soon the police arrived. It turned out a bag had been stolen from a car; this is already the third crime on this street. The officer drew up a report and questioned the neighbor as a witness. The suspect was detained in the morning, but the lawyer said his client is innocent. The court will consider the question of detention, and the decision will be announced in two days. Since then a camera has been put up in the yard, and safety, it seems to me, has improved.
Comprehension questions

Frequently asked
What level do you need to read this text in Georgian?
B1. That means: everyday topics are behind you, you know about three thousand words, and an unknown word is more often guessed from the sentence than looked up.
How to read a text in an unfamiliar language usefully?
First all the way through without peeking at the translation — just to catch the familiar words. Then with the translation. Then all the way through again: the second pass brings noticeably more, and that feeling matters more than any rule.
