Each group took a sample and checked it carefully. Our hypothesis was that the water from the stream is the dirtiest. The measurement showed something else, and the first hypothesis was disproved. The teacher said that this is natural: observation matters more than an assumption. In the end we found a clear pattern in the data and wrote the conclusion in the notebook.
