From a verb — a name: farz, takhziin, istilaam
The names of affairs and processes are built from verbs, and you can recognize them by the shape. One parsing — and you read "sorting", "storage" and "acceptance" in every announcement. For example: “فرز النفايات شغل نصف ساعة” — The sorting of the waste took half an hour. A rule from the Arabic course: worked out on examples, not memorized as a wording.
How it works
The names of affairs and processes are built from verbs, and you can recognize them by the shape. One parsing — and you read "sorting", "storage" and "acceptance" in every announcement.
A doubled verb gives a short name: farz — sorting, shahn — a shipping, madih — a praise. The same name works as the name of the whole operation: "shahn at-talab" — the shipping of the order.
The "ist-" verbs change only the tail: istalama — he received → istilaam — an acceptance; istakhraja — he extracted → istikhraaj — an extraction. The verbs with a long "ii" at the end give a name on "-iin". Khazzana — he stored → takhziin — a storage; warrada — he supplied → tawriid — a supply.
And in the "ta-" shapes the name often matches the past tense: tazaahara — both he feigned and feigning. The context will sort it out: beside another verb it is a name, beside a name — a verb.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.

What does it look like in a Arabic example sentence?
“فرز النفايات شغل نصف ساعة” (фарз ан-нафайаат шагалат нисф сааʿа) — The sorting of the waste took half an hour. A rule is easier to test on sentences like this than to memorize as a wording: what surfaces in conversation is the sentence.
