The quality agrees in gender: ample gives ampla, estret gives estreta. La capsa és més estreta que el calaix — the box is narrower than the drawer.
The top step is the same més with an article. el passadís més estret de la casa — the narrowest corridor in the house.
Equality goes through tan… com. La taula és tan ampla com llarga — the table is as wide as it is long.
