- Початок тижня був спекотний: двадцять девʼять градусів і ні хмаринки. У середу прийшла грозова хмара, вдарила блискавка, і ми промокли дорогою додому. Далі стало прохолодно й вітряно, вранці лежав туман. У суботу підмерзло, на калюжах зʼявився лід. Так за сім днів минуло ціле літо й осінь.The start of the week was hot: twenty-nine degrees and not a cloud. On Wednesday a cloud came, lightning struck, and we got soaked on the way home. Then it turned cool and windy, with fog in the mornings. On Saturday there was a frost, and ice appeared on the puddles. So in seven days a whole summer and autumn went by.
