- Зранку було сонячно й душно, а по обіді небо стало похмурим. Спершу вдарив грім, потім пішла злива. За пʼять хвилин вулиця перетворилася на суцільну калюжу. Коли все скінчилося, над полем стала веселка, і повітря пахло мокрим ґрунтом.In the morning it was sunny and muggy, and after lunch the sky turned overcast. First thunder cracked, then the downpour came. In five minutes the street turned into one big puddle. When it was all over, a rainbow stood over the field, and the air smelled of wet soil.
