- Учора ми посварилися через дрібницю: я запізнився на зустріч і не попередив. Вона сердилася, і мала рацію. Я не хотів образити, просто забув. Сьогодні вранці я подзвонив, вибачився за запізнення, і ми обоє сміялися з того, як безглуздо це виглядало. Сподіваюся, більше такого не буде.Yesterday we quarreled over a trifle: I was late for our meeting and did not warn her. She was angry, and she was right. I did not want to hurt her; I simply forgot. This morning I called and apologized for being late, and we both laughed at how silly it had looked. I hope it will not happen again.
