- මිරිස්සේ මුහුදු වෙරළ ලස්සනයි. උදේට රැල්ල පොඩියි, හවසට ලොකුයි. ධීවරයෝ බෝට්ටුවෙන් ගිහින් මාළු අල්ලනවා. වෙරළේ තල් ගහ යට වැලි උණුසුමයි. මම අව් කණ්ණාඩි දාගෙන ඉර බැසීම බලනවා. ඒත් මම මුහුදේ පීනන්නේ නෑ — මට හොඳට පීනන්න බෑ.mirissē muhudu veraḷa lassanayi. udēṭa rælla poḍiyi, havasaṭa lokuyi. dhīvarayō bōṭṭuven gihin māḷu allanavā. veraḷē tal gaha yaṭa væli uṇusumayi. mama av kaṇṇāḍi dāgena ira bæsīma balanavā. ēt mama muhudē pīnannē nǣ — maṭa hondaṭa pīnanna bǣ.The beach in Mirissa is beautiful.
