- ඊයේ මම ඇඳුම් කඩේකට ගියා. මට කමිසයක් සහ කලිසමක් ඕන වුණා. පළවෙනි කමිසය ගොඩක් පොඩියි, දෙවෙනි එක සයිස් එක හරි. මම ලා නිල් පාට එකක් තෝරගත්තා. කලිසම දිගයි, ඒත් මුදලාලි කියනවා ටිකක් කපන්න පුළුවන් කියලා. ඔක්කොම රුපියල් හත්දාහයි.īyē mama ændum kaḍēkaṭa giyā. maṭa kamisayak saha kalisamak ōna vuṇā. paḷaveni kamisaya goḍak poḍiyi, deveni eka sayis eka hari. mama lā nil pāṭa ekak tōragattā. kalisama digayi, ēt mudalāli kiyanavā ṭikak kapanna puḷuvan kiyalā. okkoma rupiyal hatdāhayi.Yesterday I went to a clothing store.
