There is a legend in the village too: in the dry period only this well did not dry up. Last year a group came to carry out excavations. They said that ancient ruins lie next to the well. Nowadays there is piped water in every house; the old well is used from time to time. But the village has not closed it. From time immemorial it has stood here and, everyone thinks, will stand further on.
