Text
- V spletni trgovini sem naročila čevlje in izbrala plačilo po povzetju. Stroški dostave so bili tri evre, rok dostave pa pet delovnih dni. At an online shop I ordered shoes and chose payment on delivery. The delivery cost was three euros, and the delivery time five working days. The parcel came only after two weeks, and it had the wrong recipient name on it. I called the shop and asked them to confirm the replacement to me in writing. They answered that by law I have the right to return the goods within fourteen days. I got my money back, and I paid the cost of the trip to the post office myself.
Comprehension questions

- What was wrong with the parcel?
- What did she ask the shop for?
- Who paid for the trip to the post office?
Frequently asked
What level do you need to read this text in Slovenian?
A2. That means: you know the letters and have a stock of everyday words — about two or three hundred.
How to read a text in an unfamiliar language usefully?
First all the way through without peeking at the translation — just to catch the familiar words. Then with the translation. Then all the way through again: the second pass brings noticeably more, and that feeling matters more than any rule.
