- Rabljen avto sem kupil v ponedeljek in že v torek me je čakal tehnični pregled. Na poti tja sem v prometni konici stal dvajset minut pred istim križiščem. Mehanik je rekel, da so zavore v redu, žarometi pa prešibki za predor. V sredo sem na makadamu predrl gumo in poklical avtovleko, ker rezerve nisem imel. V četrtek zjutraj avto sploh ni vžgal, čeprav je bila baterija nova. V petek je vse delalo in sem se prvič mirno peljal vzdolž nabrežja do službe.I bought the used car on Monday, and already on Tuesday the technical inspection was waiting for me. On the way there, in rush hour, I stood for twenty minutes in front of the same intersection. The mechanic said the brakes were fine, but the headlights were too weak for the tunnel. On Wednesday I got a flat tire on a gravel road and called a tow truck, because I had no spare. On Thursday morning the car wouldn’t start at all, even though the battery was new. On Friday everything worked, and for the first time I calmly drove along the embankment to work.
