Վաղը կգնամ: the future in one letter
Until now there was no way to talk about tomorrow — and it was the most expensive gap in the course: 'I'll go tomorrow', 'I'll call you', 'we'll order' are needed from the first week. The good news: the Armenian future is made with a single letter. Glue կ- to the front of the verb and take a personal ending: գնալ → կգնամ, կգնաս, կգնա, կգնանք, կգնաք, կգնան. There is no separate word for 'will'. For example: “Վաղը…
How it works
Until now there was no way to talk about tomorrow — and it was the most expensive gap in the course: 'I'll go tomorrow', 'I'll call you', 'we'll order' are needed from the first week. The good news: the Armenian future is made with a single letter. Glue կ- to the front of the verb and take a personal ending: գնալ (gnal) → կգնամ (kgnam), կգնաս, կգնա (kgna), կգնանք (kgnank'), կգնաք, կգնան. There is no separate word for 'will'.
The form կ- attaches to is not the present one. The present is assembled from two words (գնում եմ (gnum em)); the future is one: stem plus personal ending. Verbs in -ել take an 'e' in the ending (գրել (grel) → կգրեմ (kgrem)), verbs in -ալ take 'a' (կարդալ (kardal) → կկարդամ). If the verb starts with a vowel, կ simply goes in front of it: ուտել (utel) → կուտեմ (kutem), ասել (asel) → կասեմ (kasem).
The negative, though, works in a surprising way — the main place learners stumble. The letter կ disappears: not 'չկգնամ' but չեմ գնա (chem gna) — the negative linker plus the bare form, without կ and without the personal ending at the end. Չեմ ուշանա (chem ushana) — I won't be late, չենք պատվիրի — we won't order. Easiest to memorize as a pair: կգնամ — չեմ գնա.
Living next door is a second construction — պիտի (piti) or պետք է (petk' e) before the same form: պիտի գնամ (piti gnam). It means closer to 'I'm going to, I'm supposed to' than a plain future, and it gets its own note on modality. For plans and promises, կ- is enough.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.

What does it look like in an example sentence Armenian?
“Վաղը կգնամ օդանավակայան” (vaghə kgnam odanavakayan) — Tomorrow I'll go to the airport. A rule is easier to test on sentences like this than to memorize as a wording: what surfaces in conversation is the sentence.
