- Cada dissabte la Marta va al mercat del barri a les nou del matí. Compra carn picada per al dinar, pollastre per al sopar i fruita: prunes, un meló i mandarines. El venedor la coneix i sempre li mostra el peix fresc del dia; avui agafa tonyina i gambes. Després de les compres, es seu a la terrassa del cafè amb un cafè amb llet i una engrossa amb tomàquet. Paga amb targeta, com sempre, i torna a casa a dos passos del mercat, amb les bosses plenes.Every Saturday Marta goes to the quarter's market at nine in the morning. She buys minced meat for lunch, chicken for dinner and fruit: plums, a melon and mandarins. The seller knows her and always shows her the fresh fish of the day; today she takes tuna and shrimp. After the shopping she sits on the café terrace with a coffee with milk and a roll with tomato. She pays by card, as always, and returns home two steps from the market, with full bags.
