Last spring the fish grew fewer, then the color of the water changed, and the residents noticed the situation. In the analysis that was done, harmful additives were found; part of the river was poisoned. The factory installed a treatment facility, the municipality started greening the bank, and the schools taught about sorting trash. Restoring the river will take years, but this year fish have appeared again for the first time.
