In recent years the bank got so polluted that nobody wanted to put even a foot in the water anymore. In spring volunteers carried out forty bags of trash, and part of it was taken for recycling. We collected money for bags and gloves in the yard: everyone gave as much as they could. Now there are benches on the bank, and on Sundays children come down there from the playground.
