The plot was simple: a village boy goes to the city and looks for a trade. The first chapter seemed boring to me, but from the third I couldn't put the book down. The biggest impression was left by the ending, where the hero returns to the village and continues his grandfather's trade. Since then I have had three books by this author, and each is in the same genre.
