Hilabete barru azterketa garrantzitsu bat du eta orain ikasgaiak berrikusten ari da. Aurten beka bat lortu du, beraz gurasoak lasai daude. My sister is in her second year at the university. The faculty is far from the city, so she lives in a dormitory. In the morning she attends lectures, and in the evening she works in a group at the seminar. In a month she has an important exam, and now she is reviewing the topics. This year she got a scholarship, so her parents are calm.

Frequently asked
What level do you need to read this text in Basque?
A2. That means: you know the letters and have a stock of everyday words — about two or three hundred.
How to read a text in an unfamiliar language usefully?
First all the way through without peeking at the translation — just to catch the familiar words. Then with the translation. Then all the way through again: the second pass brings noticeably more, and that feeling matters more than any rule.
