Text
This week I went to the shopping mall twice. On Tuesday I returned a jacket, because the size did not fit, and processed the return without problems: I had the receipt and the packaging. The cashier explained to me that without a receipt there is no return, so now I keep all receipts in a box. On Thursday I came back to exchange the color of the wool sweater: the gray was dreary, and I wanted blue. The exchange took five minutes, because the model was still in stock — but two returns in one week is already a lot!

Frequently asked
What level do you need to read this text in Catalan?
B1. That means: you know the letters and have a stock of everyday words — about two or three hundred.
How to read a text in an unfamiliar language usefully?
First all the way through without peeking at the translation — just to catch the familiar words. Then with the translation. Then all the way through again: the second pass brings noticeably more, and that feeling matters more than any rule.
