The measure is taken by the turn "measure + de": mig quilo de pernil, un grapat d'olives, un pessic de sal. The "de" itself does not change, but it contracts with the article: de + el = del — un tros del pastís. The answer is the same count: Són dos euros el quilo — two euros a kilo.
