- Dissabte passat vam fer un sopar de festa: era l'aniversari del meu pare i tota la família hi va venir. Al matí vam decorar el menjador amb garlandes i globus, i la mare va posar la taula amb els plats bons. Quan l'oncle Jaume va arribar amb un ram de flors i una capsa gran, tothom va entendre que hi havia un regal dins. Després del pastís, el pare va obrir els regals i va llegir en veu alta el desig bonic de la seva neta petita. Va ser una nit tranquil·la i molt alegre: de les festes a casa, una de les millors.Last Saturday we threw a festive dinner: it was father's birthday, and the whole family came. In the morning we decorated the living room with garlands and balloons, and mother set the table with the good dishes. When uncle Jaume arrived with a bouquet of flowers and a big box, everyone understood there was a present inside. After the cake father opened the presents and read aloud the wish written by his youngest granddaughter. It was a calm and very cheerful evening: of the home holidays, one of the best.
