- Комшије су нас позвале на славу, а ми нисмо знали шта се носи. Купили смо букет и вино, јер се на славу не иде празних руку. На вратима смо се изули, а домаћин нас је почастио ракијом. Сто је био постављен за двадесет људи, а свећа је горела цело вече. Отишли смо касно, са осећајем да смо и ми део породице.Komšije su nas pozvale na slavu, a mi nismo znali šta se nosi. Kupili smo buket i vino, jer se na slavu ne ide praznih ruku. Na vratima smo se izuli, a domaćin nas je počastio rakijom. Sto je bio postavljen za dvadeset ljudi, a sveća je gorela celo veče. Otišli smo kasno, sa osećajem da smo i mi deo porodice.The neighbors invited us to their slava, and we didn't know what one is supposed to bring. We bought a bouquet and wine, because one doesn't come to a slava empty-handed. At the door we took off our shoes, and the host treated us to rakija. The table was set for twenty people, and the candle burned all evening. We left late, with the feeling that we too were part of the family.
