- Лет је каснио три сата, а мој кофер није стигао са мном. На аеродрому сам попунио упитник и оставио број телефона. У ранцу сам имао само пасош, кључ од стана и књигу. At the airport I filled out a form and left my phone number. In my backpack I had only a passport, the key to the apartment and a book. The next day they called me: the luggage had been found and was waiting in the left-luggage office. Now I pack differently — I always take the most important things as carry-on.

Frequently asked
What level do you need to read this text in Serbian?
A2. That means: you know the letters and have a stock of everyday words — about two or three hundred.
How to read a text in an unfamiliar language usefully?
First all the way through without peeking at the translation — just to catch the familiar words. Then with the translation. Then all the way through again: the second pass brings noticeably more, and that feeling matters more than any rule.
