Polite turns: potser, si us plau + condicional (Podria repetir-ho?)
The condicional is the future with another ending: the same stems as the futur, plus -ia: podria, voldria, agradaria. The obligatory pair — the softening particles: si us plau at the end and potser at the head of the answer. Podria repetir-ho més a poc a poc, si us plau? — could you repeat it more slowly, please? Potser demà puc — maybe tomorrow I can. And they soften a refusal from the other side too: Em temo que no podré venir — I am afraid I will not be able to come.

How the rule settles in your head
A rule is not memorized from an explanation. It is memorized from an attempt to use it and a mistake — that is why the app delivers it mixed in with words, not as a separate lesson: it resurfaces exactly where you forgot it.

What does it look like in an example sentence Catalan?
“Podria repetir-ho més a poc a poc, si us plau?” — Could you repeat this more slowly, please?. A rule is easier to test on sentences like this than to memorize as a wording: what surfaces in conversation is the sentence.
