- Quan la tieta va venir a conèixer el pis nou, la primera pregunta va ser on és cada cosa. Li vaig explicar: els abrics, al passadís; la taula, al costat del finestral, perquè el menjador no és gaire espaiós. Els llibres dormen al calaix del fons, i a la vora del sofà hi ha sempre una cadira per als convidats. Al fons del passadís penja el mirall oval: amb ell, l'espai sembla el doble de gran. La tieta va dir que a casa seva tot està igual: cada cosa al seu lloc, i el desordre, per separat.When my aunt came to see the new flat, the first question was: where does what stand. I explained: coats — in the entryway; the table — by the window, because the living room is not very spacious. The books sleep in the far drawer, and next to the sofa there is always a chair for guests. At the back of the entryway hangs an oval mirror: with it the space seems twice as big. My aunt said her home is just the same: every thing in its place, and the mess — separately.
